I love the place, the timing, and the haircut. I am afraid I cannot find a spot if it gets more popular :). I really recommend it.

Best barber in the city

True barbering nerd. Said with the utmost respect and approval.

There are many people who do a trade because they’re good at it and it puts food on the table. And that’s noble and honorable. And then there are people who do it because they have a passion for it and they think about it outside of work. And they keep thinking about how they can do it better. It was pretty clear even before I started chatting that I was dealing with the latter here. The gleaming brass on the classic barber chair. The immaculate floor. Dozens of very thoughtful choices in the decor of this lovingly crafted backyard studio barbershop. Not to mention the rows of precisely lined up instruments in the drawers of the mechanics tool chest turned shop counter. This was the first Barber I had ever encountered that actually used specific technical terminology in describing a haircut. I was pretty sure the haircut would be as meticulous as the set up. I wasn’t wrong.

He has a pretty solid booking texting and appointment management game as well. Reminder texts and various specific suggestions. But a friendly suggestion: his calendar fills up fast, so your best book a few days early.

Looks like I found my new Barber.
One less thing to worry about.
